「三分鐘英語學術簡報競賽」緣起於澳洲昆士蘭大學，是一項國際性研究簡報競賽。旨在鼓勵研究生深入淺出地分享其學術研究成果，首重與不同背景聽眾間之交流。國立臺灣大學寫作教學中心於2015年首獲授權辦理、2017年起邀請國立臺灣師範大學及國立臺灣科技大學協辦，今年為擴大跨領域學習環境，特將本競賽之參賽對象擴展至北北基大專院校研究生。優勝者除可獲得獎金，還將有機會站上國際舞台，為校爭光！
