兼任講師 Adjunct Instructor
美國德州州立大學創作碩士及碩士 MFA and MA, Texas State University, USA.
I’m a teacher and a writer, which means I’m constantly learning, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hold two master’s degrees: one in Creative Writing and one in Rhetoric and Composition. The first helps me better tell my stories; the second helps me help others tell theirs. I taught for five years at Texas State University, and for the last three years I taught at a bilingual high school here in Taipei. I’ve also published articles about literature, video games, and a variety of other topics at places such as Harvard Educational Review, Commonwealth/天下, The Rumpus, and more. Besides teaching and writing, 我在慢慢學中文！
“You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive.” -James Baldwin
“I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking, what I’m looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear.” -Joan Didion
