Learning a language is hard. Learning how to use a language that is not your first in an academic setting is even more difficult. Sharing ideas and research, and connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds, can be terrifying. However, by being able to do all of these, the world suddenly becomes exponentially larger and filled with so much possibility and opportunity. The journey can be difficult and frightening, or it could be challenging and fulfilling; but in the end the rewards will last a lifetime. Will your voice be heard by the world? Or will your thoughts and ideas be limited to those around you?
